I bought this on a whim looking for a new wifi device to connect a USB with movies on it and got so much more. Very easy to connect and extremely simple interface that is very user friendly and easy to navigate.
I had to search to find out that I did not need to be connected to the internet to use the Roku3 with the USB and THAT is fantastic. I can't wait to show it off to my camping crew and watch movies. It is SO much easier to use than my RaspberryPi XBMC, which I really like as well, but the Roku3 USB made things so much simpler.
And don't forget about all the other channels available. TV, Movies, Sports, News, Music, etc.
I WILL be buying another one or two to hook up to my other TV's around the house.
Excellent product. Exactly what I was looking for and more.

I bought my roku3 2 years ago...I thought i wasted my money but it was best toy I ever bought...lol!!!!!!

I think I would like it if it would quit knocking my wireless connection off line. Am considering disconnecting it even though I have enjoyed watching one movie without losing wireless connection.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Roku 3 is a powerful, super easy to use tiny device. One killer app it has is the headphone jack in the controller, which is awesome.

I had been researching the streaming market for sometime. I finally decided today to get the Roku 3. HOWEVER, before I ran out and bought it, I contacted the Roku Chat and spoke with the most amazing "Roku Streaming Professional" Emmanuel M. I have been in customer service for 30+ years and it is very RARE these days to actually find a professional like Emmanuel M. After our chat I went right out, bought the Roku and had it set up in literally minutes. I cannot say enough about Roku Streaming or this customer service Rep. Also, when I went back to the chat after purchase just to say that if it had not been for Emmanuel M. I may not have even purchased the unit today. The next 'streaming professional' was just as courteous and professional. I did get to chat with Emmanuel M. again.
BOTTOM LINE - get a Roku and cut the cable cord now! You'll save money and have wonderful viewing. ROKU YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!
