I've had this little machine for a couple of years and love that I not only get Netflix but Democracy Now, which I tend to miss otherwise.

I have been using roku 3 in 4 of my places and they are really reliable, easy to use with very good WiFi antennas!

Just set up my Roku 2 and is is exactly what I hoped for. My internet connection is not as fast as my daughter's and I was concerned that it would hamper the ability to fast forward or go back. without annoying buffering. Works just great!

I had always thought about getting a smart TV because of being able to stream netflix and hulu without an additional player. However, i took a chance on a Roku 3 to replace my Playstation 3 as the only streaming device. Not only is it faster than the Playstation, but it also has many other channels that can be downloaded and watched. It's always on and quick to navigate.

I have been doing live streaming of Netflix and Hulu Plus programs via a WII machine. With the ROKU player I am now able to stream at true HD quality. In addition, Astronomy has been a life long hobby of mine. It is great to view astronomy programs in HD quality.

Lots of free content

We received this as a Christmas gift and I have loved it. We have an XBox 360 and an internet connected DVD/Blu-Ray Player which we also use and this is very comparable. There are a lot of free channels that I use a lot such as Pandora, Netflix, PBS Kids, and a fitness channel. My favorite is the Smithsonian channel - they don't really have anything comparable on our other devices. I have not bought many channels because there are a good variety of free ones, but I have scrolled through the paid channels and there are some really cool looking ones.
