Finally, a reliable streaming device !

I bought a ROKU 3 5 weeks ago and am so glad I did. I used to stream videos through my Blu Ray player but the connection always got interrupted. Plus to stop and start the video was painfully slow.
With the ROKU, connection time is extremely fast. The connection is extremely reliable and I can resume playing a stopped video instantaneously. Plus...there are hundreds of channels to choose from !!!!
this was the best $100 i ever spent on an entertainment device.

I Love My ROKU!

I recently purchased my ROKU and an HD digital antenna, and discontinued my cable TV service. I can honestly say that I don't miss cable AT ALL! I'm able to watch all of my favorite programs broadcast by the major networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, as well as FOX and UNC) - and with all of the channels that ROKU has to offer, I have more viewing choices than I ever had with cable! No more cable bills, either! More to watch, and saving money, too - I love my ROKU!

We LOVE our Roku!

We've had our Roku 2 for two years now. When we both retired our finances were a little tighter and we were looking for ways to cut back expenses. Our son recommended we switch from cable to Roku. We were hesitant at first but now we're so glad we did. When we still had cable with over 120 stations there was many a night when we could not find anything we wanted to watch on TV. With Roku that never happens. There are always so many options to choose from.

We are starting our 3rd week using our 2-Roku 3's. The wife loves her mysteries, so Acorn TV is great for her. She is also a little hard of hearing, so those great ear buds come in handy. I enjoy my classic comedies of the 50's - 90's, so Amazon Instant Video and YouTube are perfect for me. Also enjoy watching local newscasts throughout the USA via the Livestream channel. We dropped Comcast cable TV: best decision ever!! Saving money and now have many more viewing choices. Only regret was not doing it sooner.

I was looking at getting an Apple TV but opted for the Roku 3 because it has many more streaming media options.
