First Streamer, great content, ease of use.

This is the first streamer I have owned. I bought an Apple TV, Chromecast and Roku 3 all at the same time. I kept the Roku 3 because of features, speed and ease of use. If it could stream from computer (not using Plex) and from device browsers it could rule the market. I'm looking forward to the day it can, but for now great product for $99. Never have to worry about finding something to watch. Can't quite get rid of cable yet. The news channels are more like clips and sports channels limited.
Love the headphones in the remote, but it eats batteries every other week. Search function for movies is excellent.

*NOTE*: You will need to buy some paid services to benefit from this product. I have netflix and amazon subscriptions and store digital on VUDU. If I didn't have Netflix or Zon, I would probably not like it as much.

We bought this about a month ago. We have loved the ease of using our streaming services (netflix, hulu) and looking at our children's you tube videos.

wifi interference

If I did not have the need for my ipad or pc to connect to my wifi router, this roku 3 would rate a "10". Unfortunately I need my wifi to work with other electronics in conjunction with the roku 3, which the roku overpowers the signal, meaning I cannot use both at the same time. Robu is unplugged and gathering dust, until someone finds a solution.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love using the roku so we can get streaming programs from netflix and amazon. Not to mention all the movies. I would strongly recommend this add on to your TV.

I bought this device in anticipation of cancelling my cable--which I still plan to do. If your not a high tech person this is a great device as it is easy to use and allows you to view many items not available on cable.

Love movie night

I bought this a few weeks ago and I love that I can stream movies at my convenience. My only issue is I wish they offered more free streaming channels instead of having to pay for them - Ex. Hulu you pay a monthly service fee.
