Great Way to Cut the Cord

When cable started taking away channels in preparation for scrambling all the local channels, I purchased a Roku 3 and a couple of good TV antennas. It was the most wonderful purchase I ever made. I cancelled cable and watch local channels using my antenna or on Roku.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cut the cord!

A different way of watching TV. Instead of flip flip flip through the channels mindlessly, I choose something to watch and watch. Matched up with a subscription service I can choose, watch, pause and rewind. The man and his rental box are his-to-ry.

I do not like it....will not use it. You have to give them a credit card...even if you have no intent to use extra paid services. You can't connect a wireless keyboard. Using smart devices is not straight forward....useless to me. I went back to WD. It is fast and stays on all the time.

We love our Roku, even though some members of the family are still getting used to not watching "live" tv all the time. However, we also purchased an HD antenna so they can watch local channels when they need to get their live tv fix. The content on Roku is great; we are really pleased.

The Roku is a great little device. It does everything I want it to, with a lot of ease. However, I wish that it would get more channels such as the History channel, but then this might be because of my internet carrier not having the rights.

Freebies and Commercials are not for me

The freebies are sub par; movies have commercials and are terrible. I could find nothing that I liked on this unit. Returned to store.
