Great alternative to cable

I bought this about 2 months ago and it is a great alternative to cable. There are two things about it that I wish were available. #1 we cannot get fox sports network #2 the apps on the roku have the same shows. Overall I think this a great product

good way to watch tv

We really like it, but we're still figuring it out. I think a perfect combo for a home would be one apple tv receiver, a Roku, and Netflicks.

Get lost searching

you can spend as much time looking for something to watch as you do watching. Needs more channels, the paid services are ok, but there is a lot of over lap on content. If it had SkySports or some of the BBC channels it would be perfect. I'd even pay to get the content. So sick of American shows. Netflix kicks off at least 2 times every night between 7-9PM

Not quite what I expected.

I like it, but usually use it mainly for the headphones on the remote. I have found few free programs that I like. My grandson likes the headphone feature too, he can watch his Youtube of Minecraft and not drive his grandma crazy! By the time I add all the subscription costs up I might as well keep my satellite tv subscription and it is easier for everyone in the house to use.

I got the Roku about a month ago and i really like it. I recommend downloading the phone roku app so that you can use the phone keypad to search instead of the remote that goes with it. There are a lot of apps on roku to choose from including cooking shows.
