surprisingly easy to operate

i can't stop telling my friends to buy this product. why pay over 80 dollars a month to watch tv, when you can do it for free!! i wish i had known about this sooner. almost everything i want to watch is available. all my important shows, and all the shows my kids love too, without even buying a subscription to anything.

I bought my ROKU about 5 weeks ago mainly to watch Netflix, and was pleasantly surprised that I can watch local news all over the country, as a working television journalist a lot of my former co workers are spread out across the country at various tv stations. Now with ROKU I can watch them all again, and it is a huge treat for me

Works pretty good

Roku works good but is a little hard to figure out how it works since there are no instructions. The set up was time consuming but with phone help from roku it went well. I don't think a novice could set this unit up.

I love this device. I however dont like the fact that we still have to purchase episodes of tv shows. 80 bucks a year should include all tv shows. If you want one should be able to buy seasons but not have to pay for episodes.

The Roku 3 player has alleviated the stress of worrying that my unwillingness to pay an extensive cable bill won't result in access to quality programs. I'm very thankful that we've made the jump to Roku!

Small, feature rich and easy to use

Been exploring features and apps for the past month. Still uncovering more really cool things with this device every time I use it.
Would prefer the standard keyboard pop up when I need to enter credit card and access information but other than that this small but feature-filled box is a solid performer in all ways.

Great way to watch steaming content

I read about roku I at first couldn't believe it was much diffent than my blue ray player with ability to receive netflix hulu etc but I decided to try it out I was surprised at the ease to set it up and have been enjoying all the options and I been finding new apps I am very happy with this product and have told friend and family of its ability to improve tv viewing
