Great Media Player, But...

I very much like my Roku and it has been a fantastic change of pace for our family from traditional DVR and live programming. However, there are a few things that are keeping me from loving it.
1) I want a straightforward listing of ALL the available channels. I felt very blind when I decided to purchase my Roku and would have wanted (and still want) just a list of all the available channels.
2) I really want channels for ABC and CBS. No longer having a DVR makes it very difficult to keep up with programs on those channels. Hulu Plus offers a great selection of NBC and FOX programming (and Fox has their own channel as well) but the best shows from the other networks are glaringly absent.
3) ESPN and CBS Sports have channels, why not NBC Sports, Big Ten Network, Fox Sports, etc. being a huge sports buff, I really want additional sports channels available. It would save me the effort of going back and forth between cable and Roku.
4) At some point, it would be fantastic if channels were available without a cable or satellite subscription but instead could be subscribed to a la carte. Not necessarily your issue but something you could maybe leverage down the road.

I got tired of my satellite service, so decided on a streamer, first tried chrome, took me sometime to set it up, then saw Roku, bought it too, setting-up, getting all my accounts connected were very easy

Great, but not the most compatible with my LG TV.

Roku has a lot of really great channels and content, but the picture on my LG TV drops frames a lot. I've tried it on different TVs and it plays fine on those so I know the TV is the problem, but it's weird that everything hooked up to my TV plays fine. I've also found another instance of this happening and that was an LG as well.

I wish I would have purchased this a long time ago. I guess I was not convinced when others said how great it was...but it is!! I use it for all my streaming now and watching TV. With the Time Warner app, it even takes the place of my cable box. Should have taken the dive earlier!!

BOUGHT THIS LAST MONTH AND IT WORKS FLAWLESSLY . STREAMS HD AND HOOKING UP TO MY SURROUND SOUND REC TOOK ABOUT 3 MIN

Best Streaming device I have had

This is the third streaming device I have owned. It has a lot more flexible programing features than other devices. It also streams with a strong signal compared to the other devices I have had. I love the Netflix graphic menu with this and number of channels available to program on to it.

Fast efficient and inexpensive. Ethernet port, HDMI only, nice ui, can be annoying to set apps up with onscreen keyboard and pc.
