this was given to us as a gift. i am so excited to be able to watch seasons of my favorite shows with out all the commercials and when ever i want to.

according to our teenage grandson's recommendation, we are having to disconnect unit up at least once-twice a day to unfreeze screen, and then have to re-sign-in. when it works, it has opened up a wonderful array of offerings. give it a 5 when it works, a 3 to get the bugs out- seems to overheat.

... and it gets a 5 when they (or I) figure out how to use a wireless keyboard or laser pointer with it. The "arrow over/up/down/ok" remote look up is really irritating in this day of hi-tech equipment. Tip 1: If into Amazon prime movies, Amazon provides much more info about the movie you are considering, first search for movies on your PC and save them to your Amazon watchlist. Tip 2: manage your Amazon watchlist a couple times a week so it doesn't become an ugly closet full of viewed movies you'll never want to see again. Later on come back to Roku and scroll quickly to find your movie from the watchlist ... else be prepared for really tedious searching times with your little Roku "remote". Still like Roku overall but "fix the controller" folks!

I have had the Roku device for a month and am thoroughly pleased with its features. The high definition is crisp and being able to pause any program is convenient. There are quite a number of free shows to watch and I don't miss the sorry choices of low-brow, intellectually barren content of the major television distributors. I am glad to have a choice of television entertainment offered by Tony.

This is the best device since the invention of satellite tv as far as I'm concerned. I certainly use it more than my satellite-provided programming. If you love watching specific shows with little or no advertising, you have to get one of these. You will not be sorry that you did.
