My son bought this product for me and I am very happy with it! I have had no problems at all and it works like a charm every time! So easy to set up and use.

My one complaint is that there aren't a few more channel options--specifically a CBS channel, a Disney Anywhere channel, or an iTunes channel. Otherwise, this is a very good addition to our household's entertainment systems.

What a great buy!

I bought the ROKU 3 a month ago to watch ACORN TV that streams, among others, many British detective series and other British programs not available in the US ($4.99 per month to subscribe to Acorn). ACORN TV also ties in to PBS, REDBOX, HULU, AMAZON, etc.). Yesterday I purchased a HULU subscription ($7.95 per month) and was pleasantly surprised to discover that HULU has a LARGE number of Criterion Collection movies, among other things. WIth ROKU I have easy access to a large number of first-class movies and documentaries from home.
The installation was easy - just hook up an HDMI cable to your HDMI TV in an available port and then hook the other end to the ROKU. You get an activation code from the ROKU internet site when you subscribe to any of the companies (ACORNTV, HULU, etc.) . ROKU will ask you to enter that code.

Using it daily and enjoy all the options. The only problem so far is that the audio cuts out for about 3 seconds occasionally for no known reason?

So Many Chioces

I was using a Western Digital Media Player for over 3 years and decided to change over the Roku 3 and boy am I glad I did. The choices are 10 fold and grow monthly. Roku features more streaming support than any other media player on the market ( in my opinion). Roku still allows me to connect my external HD and play video content saved from my PC. Roku also supports many different video formats which I was to using with my WD player and more. I almost forgot to mention the HDMI input provides a spectacular image and in full 1080P. Thinking of "cutting the cable"? Buy the Roku 3 and don't look back. Worth every penny!!!

Lightening Fast, Easy Install, Tons of Channels

I got tired of cable with many channels, nothing to watch, packages that are not tailored to the viewer and ever increasing prices. With a digital streamer, you watch what you want when you want and so many are free. I first bought Hammacher Schlemmer's HDTV To Smart TV Converter but the remote was impossible to use and the streamer itself was soooo slow. I bought the Roku 3 and have nothing but positive things to say. Plug it in (remember to buy an HDMI cord which should have been included), and it practically loads itself and is super fast. Out of 6 levels that my internet provider offers, I have the third fastest and that is fast enough. Also, Roku offers so many channels that I can't watch them all but I'm trying. I am 100% satisfied with this product.
