It seems as though I have to reboot this device a couple times a week in order for it to work properly. And that is getting old.

One actual issue for Netflix (no category search)

I love this Roku! I really do, my family does and its so much better than watching cable in a lock of ways. I have only one real issue with the box and that is with the Netflix app on the box.....THERE IS NO CATEGORY SEARCH! I have Netflix streaming on my Smart TV and for our Wii and both have category searches and suggestions for the user which the Roku does not. Its frustrating because if I want to find "History Documentary" or "Stand up Comedy" I cant just go to the category, I have to ACTUALLY TYPE, WORD FOR WORD, the category that I want and that barely works. Its just such a great device and I would've figured that something as easy and simple would just be offered since i payed for the Roku 3. Just my 2 cents, I really hope they fix this issue

Good thing to have when you travel much

It is a practical solution for those who travel much and hate paying for cable/ satellite TV. I catch up on the blockbusters a few day and it offers channels that are not normally available on cable tv. Roku is great if you know what you want to watch and do not mind doing the search after each episode. Otherwise, it can be superbly annoying process to go through every 30 mins or so.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ifound the Roku 3 easy to set up and use. Had a problem after a week remote would not work. Was frustrating. I noticed a a red flashing check mark upper right corner of my TV screen. Finally tried new batteries and all was well

Outstanding start to cutting the cable cord!

Great start to cutting the cable cord or satellite feed. The best search feature for content of any similar device. Easy setup and wireless works perfectly. However, I wish the remote paired with my TV so that the On/Off and volume controls would control the TV.

A great alternative to cable or satellite

We have had OTAB for a number of years now and decided to try this due to intermittent signal loss on our TV.
We are happy with the channels that you can add to this, but it would be nice to have some live network TV that you do not have to pay for.

Got rid of Direct TV thinking this was the best thing since sliced bread but was gently disappointed. The fancy remote it comes with likes to go to sleep and you have to wait about a minute for it to wake back up on it's own. We finally started using our iPhones as remotes. There are some connection issues from time to time. Most of the desired content on most of the apps you have to pay for. We are still satisfied with a Netflix subscription
