Great if you keep it working....

I have two Roku3's, one is and has been performing beautifully, the other failed after a week - it was replaced, and now after two weeks this one has failed and is on it's way back to the retailer. If it wasn't for the first unit performing flawlessly I would probably give up on Roku - a 66% failure rate is not a good benchmark for any manufacturer. I can say to get one, just keep the receipt and packaging.

I bought this about a month ago to add to our non-smart TV in the living room. We love it so much we actually bought a second one and use it on our other TV that is already a smart tv. The content on the Roku can't be matched.

I debated the Roku and the Netgear a few months ago and ended up buying the NetGear I had many problems with it (picture would disappear every few seconds, interface was clunky, remote would disconnect frequently. I went back and bought the Roku unit. I'm so glad I did, what a huge difference, love it. Just wish I didn't make the wrong choice to begin with. Live and learn..

I used for a few weeks then it stopped working. Probably a defective unit but I bought a blue ray player with similar features instead.

The Smartphone App makes it Perfect!

My first Roku was the first one on the market. Since then I've used PS3, Logitech's Revue, Google Chromecast, my Sony BluRay player and a Panasonic Plasma to stream content. The Roku 3 is by far the best! The best selection of content, smooth operation and with my Android App it's soooooooooooooooooooo easy to control. No more hunting one letter at a time...I just use the keyboard on my phone. In my opinion the Roku 3 is as good as it gets!
