One disappointing feature

I have been happy with the performance of the device except for one important thing. Unlike the Roku HD Streaming Player I bought last June, which has, in addition to the HDMI output, also has composite output (3 RCA cable jacks - left, right, and video). With that combination, not only can I send the HDMI output to my TV but I can also send the left and right audio to a receiver-amplifier and from there to my speakers. With the Roku 3, I have no effective way to send line audio to my receiver-amplifier. For this reason, I recommend against buying this model and suggest buying the earlier Roku HD Streaming Player, which also comes at a lower price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

At Long Last

It gives the watcher the choices of what to view,when to view,and how long to view. The choices are unbelievable.Always something on at your schedule,not when they want you to watch.True TV Liberty

Loving my Roku, except for a couple minor things.

I have had my roku about 2 months and we use it daily. I am loving the majority of it. We are using it to replace our Wii for netflix and hooking a laptop for steaming. It is WAY easier to use a roku for this type of stuff. Also the netflix streaming looks incredible compared to the wii.
There is an issue I had with netflix login and password not being remembered. Seems hit or miss on why this happens. Sometimes it is good for a week other times only a few days. Tried the removing and adding channel and it seems better but still have issues. Also our cable provider, comcast doesn't seem to work well with the roku, so even though there are channels we should be able to verify, it doesn't work well. Assuming not in my cable providers best interest to steer me to roku.
