Works great!

Bought Roku 3 about a month ago and canceled cable. Signed up for Netflix and Aereo and we don't miss cable at all. Used the Roku with wireless for about a week before connecting to our wired network in the house. Even on wireless is worked fine. Simple setup and easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had the Roku for over a month now. It is just awesome. I can watch the shows that I love with such easy and such great cost. No longer have a need for satellite or cable at all. I am amazed. I tell everyone I know. Now my mom and mother-in-law are getting one. You simply cannot go wrong. And everything is available when you have the time to watch.

Great product! Love the bluetooth remote with headphone jack! Only negative is that I wish more of the apps were compatible with my cable company (xfinity) especially hbogo.

Lots of cool stuff, but lots of subscriptions stuf

Overall I like the player. It has most of the services I want, some of the subscription ones I need, and a lot of new and ineresting stuff. But some of the basics abc/fox they are only available if you subscribe to a certain cable company, sorta drfeats the point of this thing. Some of the channels don't offer much actual programming. But all and all it works fin, had is good and price was not bad. Just wish I could bet network feeds... That would make it way better.

I have been streaming content for a while - using my Xbox. After my 3rd software crash, I decided to try something else. It was tough to decide between the Roku and the Apple TV. I use mostly Apple software and products, but I stream through Amazon Prime (not available on Apple TV). I chose the Roku 3 based on reviews and I am 100% certain I made the right choice. It was ready to use out of the box, and consistently has a quick connection to every channel/service. It also has the most channels available and I am always trying something new.
Additionally, the Roku app plays my local iPhone and iPad content (music, pics, videos) seamlessly. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the market.

Even Better than I Expected

We were getting programming through our Blu-ray DVD player which is a distance from our router. Often, we just couldn't load full programming. Never a problem for our Roku 3 in exactly the same location. Also, incredibly easy to set up using our Mac.
