i purchased this about 2 months ago, not wanting to pay for cable anymore, and love it, I now watch tv when I choose to. So many choices for everyone.

I bought this because it has HBO2Go. for my TV upstairs. I have HBO to go on my computer and HD HBO on my tv downstairs. HOWEVER, my cable company does not "support" HBO to go on my ROKU device. I would suggest Roku reach out to the cable companies to encourage them to support the device. I was disappointed.

I absolutely love my Roku. The only thing I don't like is that I can't remove some paid channels from "My Channels." I am not going to pay for them, so they aren't MY channels at all! Otherwise, I am very satisfied. Setup was a breeze, which is a big plus for me. In addition, the instruction guide was actually fun to read.
Not only WOULD I recommend Roku to a friend; I have recommended it to many friends!

I heart my little black box

So simple to set up, such great program options (TED talk channel, lots of indie movies, so many things that I wouldn't have known or thought to seek out). It's easy to use, and the streaming works perfectly. I have another box with access to Netflix, but it always has difficulty with a consistent stream. NOT SO with my Roku. Exceptional quality of video and sound. The remote is small and light, and sometimes feels awkward in my hand, but that is not a deal breaker. If I had a wish list, I would somehow have an option to do all log-ins via an app, so I could type my passwords in instead of the navigation and click method with the remote. Other than that, I love it!

Roku3 has a great variety of apps that I use - Aereo, HBO GO, Showtime Anytime, Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Watch ESPN to name a few... leaps and bounds better than my Samsung Blu-ray player with SMART Hub. Clean interface, easy to use, and the cross-app searching is incredible.

My husband bought a Roku and I was not convinced of the purchase, but now I love it! I absolutely recomend it. It is very easy to use and it has a wide variety of selections, that you don't get in other devices of the sort.

I would recommend this product for anyone who is trying to stream off of a DVD, TV or similar device. The interface is great! Plug and play, small, neat product. I have nothing negative to say about this device. Well worth your money!
