Best way to get internet tv!

I'm glad I bought this. I was using a Google chrome device but this serves my needs better. Its a great device for netflix. I would have given it a full five star rating if I could access files on my network attached storage but that's just me and its really not designed for this purpose. Its easy to set and use and tons better and faster than trying to perform the same functions from a network attached DVD or blue ray player. Great device!

I've had my Roku for a little over a month and I am astounded at all the programming and selections that are available. I dropped my Satellite T.V. subscription and chose to purchase a Roku in its place. I have had no regrets with my Roku and by purchasing a Leaf, I now have my local stations to watch as well; a great compliment to my Roku system

Simple interface, many sources

I bought the Roku 3 because I wanted a wide choice of channels but a simple interface to navigate. I got both. I tried other "cheaper" dongles but they lack the functionality of the Roku. Great way to consume media from Netflix, M-Go, PBS, History Channel, etc. I also have music and videos on a USB stick attached for my niece to enjoy. Awesome!

Very nice. Tiny (so it takes up very little space), runs smoothly, stays on the whole time which I was originally worried about but it barely uses any power and doesn't really have a risk of shorting out. The wireless stays connected with no issues. LOTS of channel options, many of which are free. The only thing that's a little iffy is that the file reader that plays downloaded movies or tv shows from a USB stick will sometimes freeze up. But exiting out of the player and restarting it works; I've only had to do this twice. Doesn't seem to present any other problems so far. I've had my Roku 3 since mid-January 2014 and it is excellent so far!

it's a good unit I wish it didn't need a power supply thing. It has Aereo app apple tv doesn't. It gets a little warm just a bit in stand by. So does apple tv but they mask the heat with the unit housing. I like the on screen format and the way Netflix is. Ive found about 16 free apps with good content. I pay for Netflix and Aereo. Roku 3 is a good buy if you want the biggest bang for the buck, even if you own an apple tv.
