WOW! My 1st Roku & I'm wildly impressed

Super easy to set up. Had some problems with screen resolution at first, but it corrected itself at the end of the setup. A little slow to get signed into all of my accounts (if you're a Wii user, this will be easy for you!), but once it was set up, it's done - so when I used it today., it was very easy to just start watching. My first reaction to the screen quality was "wow" that's good. Not sure if that is the Roku or the channels, but its way better than most of my regular TV channels. LOVE the variety of the various channels and my daughter is going to love the kids channels and video options for her favorite music. Note that I was given this Roku as a gift and while I was asked to write a review, I'm definitely impressed (genuinely) and plan to be an avid Roku fan moving forward!
Pros: Video selection, Compact, Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to use, High quality picture, Easy to set up

It does not have off switch but I know that it have 10 min auto off future.
Pros: Video selection, Built in Wi-Fi, Compact, High quality picture, Great value, Reliability, Easy to use, Great For Facebook Use, Easy to set up

The Center of Your Streaming Universe

The Roku 3 immediately became the central hub of my home etertainment and media center. It's sleek sexy design looks great sitting along side my media components, but it's small stature (smaller then its competitor) also makes it a unobtrusive streaming powerhouse. The setup was beyond simple, software updates were quick and in a matter of minutes I was feasting on endless channel options. The interface is seamless and just makes sense. I was able to add channels and log-in to services like Facebook and Spotify the first time, whithout hassel. The new controler design works similar to a Ninendo Wii controller and can be used for playing games such as Angry Birds (free). There is also a headphone jack in the controller so I can enjoy Ted Talks later in the evening without bothering anyone. I can also stream Pandora with the headpones and the controller in my pocket if I choose to be mobile around the house. I did find the power adaptor to be a little large considering the petite design of the Roku3. The power cord could have been a little longer. My cable provider also has not partnered up with Roku in my area so I am unable to stream HBOGo. Overall I am impressed with the quality and sleek design of the Roku3, the abundant streaming content available in 1080p and it's smart operating interface. It is now the center of my streaming universe.

Got this Roku 3 streaming box. Easy to set up, no nonsense. Great new UI, super fast and smooth, looks great on HD 1080p TV. Too many channels to go through, too little time.

I have owned two other Roku Players before purchasing the Roku 3. I use the other units with other TVs in my home. I use the Roku 3 mostly for Netflix movie watching. The audio feature, allowing for headphone listening of movies, is perfect for me. I did have a problem with the remote, which functioned perfectly, except for headset listening. I contacted Roku Customer Service and they sent out a replacement remote, which I received two days later. Fantastic products, and Fantastic Customer service keeps me coming back again and again!

ROKU 3's Simple Streaming Shows

I have ROKU 2D in summer home through Acorn deal and ROKU 3 at home. Cut TV at summer home and save $75 a month in TV fees. I love movies old and new so the variety is good. The hard part is picking sources to add that I may like without selecting it. Not impossible but no solution to suggest.
