Purchasing Roku 1 was easily done online and setting it challenged me during the setup but a technical representative cleared my issues quickly, politely and efficiently.

Simple streaming in a small package

I am over-all happy with my Roku 3; the only thing that is letting me down is the "refreshing or lagging" that I see every three minutes or so on Netflix. The poor service with Netflix is the only issue I have. I connected my internet provider and was told that they are at full function and was also told to contact Netflix; I did and they had me reconnect and re-sign up, which did NOT help.. I haven't had time to mess with it lately.. I would only recommend this product when said issue is fixed.

This is perfect if you have Amazon Prime and the variety for that is amazing. Also lots of other channels are available but so far i am still on the Amazon channel

Great for getting rid of your cable

Just that some channels are blocked by my ISP Comcast. This is lke having your ISP stop you from going to google in a Ipad and there is nothing to do about it but get anther type device beside ROKU? Help please.. history and a&e are greta channels to watch.

Great Video Unit

Very good quality streaming video. Fairly simple to set up, with ability to link your existing Netflix account access. Have to pay attention to the "pairing" between the remote and Roku unit. Only issue I see is that the remote eats batteries way too quickly. From what I've read of on-line users, disconnecting the headset during unused periods will improve that problem. Would recommend to a friend.
