It is lightening fast, makes our internet provider look good. Plenty of options for entertainment. Wish I could eliminate the visual on channels that I don't have or want just to streamline.

i have had the roku for a few months. no regrets. one of the best things i have ever paid for. its also one of the best gifts for someone who doesnt have cable/satellite. best things are the remote and the browsing speed. 5 stars out of 5

The only issue I have with it is Netflix! Absolutely hate the new netflix interface! You can't search movies similar to that one you like. If you stopped watching a movie in the middle then come back to it weeks later, there's no option to play from beginning. You have to manually rewind the entire movie. The interface with half of the screen a picture of the movie- its' a waste of space, now i only have 2 rows to look through at a time. Most of all is the genre- there is no option to choose by genre! All we get is a list what is similar to the movie/show we HAVE watched, which is great, but I want to look up similar movies/shows that I haven't seen on netflix, that i really don't want to watch over again. I absolutely hate it!
Other than that roku 3 is perfect! super fast, doesn't reboot anymore, and the UI is pretty. We use the roku EVERYDAY. We don't pay for any cable, we get what we want on netflix and other channels on roku, like smithsonian channel, discovery channel, plex, hulu, hbo- which is more affordable than paying cable tv- which you can't pause or rewind unless you buy their DVR devices for extra money =\.

I do not have cable or antenna TV and did not want to pay for them in a part-time house, so I bought the Roku 3 about two months ago. I use it mainly for Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Fox News, but am pleased to have access to many other channels as well. Extremely easy to install and set up. The only thing I found to be strange was that Fox Broadcasting is offered as a channel but has to be authenticated which can only be done if one has it already as a cable station. The reason I bought Roku was because I have no cable! But I do love it.

This works like a charm! Easy to set up and navigate. Lots of free stuff plus Netflix, Hulu etc. A great way to stream movies. I recommend it highly.
The remote has a headphone jack. Nice feature!

We have two ROKU 3s. Think they are a good value for streaming players. One is connected by network cable, the other by WiFi. The 3 has a good 5ghz WiFi receiver, pulls in the signal well and is stable. Like the size, low profile.
We have two 1080i CRT HDTVs. The Roku does not output 1080i so we are forced to use the 720p output. There are still many tube HDTVs in use, Roku should add 10180i to the output options.
