I have google tv,apple tv ,xbox but. Roku is the best

Have been using roku for a little over a month now. Quite happy with the stability of the device with respect to similar ones I have used before.

Roku Stands Above The Rest

For years I have been using a Boxee which has been doing the job, bringing Movies and TV programs along with internet service to my television screen. I wasn't happy with several things about the boxes like the slow remote, often times losing the wireless connection, but I thought it was OK and that they would improve it with upgrades. I had heard of Roku and Apple tv but thought they probably were probably as unreliable. I had read some of the reviews about the Roku but was skeptical. Finally though my Boxee is still working, about two months ago I bought the Roku 3. WOW!!! What a difference. It is fast, like the speed of light compared to the boxes, the picture is excellent, it's small and unobtrusive, the remote is uncomplicated and very fast, and no connection loss, and filled with applications. What a difference. I love it. There is one feature that the boxee has that it appears the Roku does not, a built in browser that allows you to view all your internet addresses and programs, email etc., that you have on your computer right onto your tv. Maybe they will incorporate this into a future model.....but for all movies and tv's from the apps, Roku is far superior to the outdated and apparantly discontinued Boxee.

Not completely satisfied

When I purchased the Roku 3 what I read indicated that I would be able to receive live TV channels. This is not true. I am very unhappy with this purchase and am considering returning it for a full refund.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my Roku 3. It is easy to operate and has a wealth of channels. I am also impressed with the speed it operates at. No lag time.

Slick Sweet Device

I bought the Roku 3 last month. I'm 71 years old and a bit challenged with technical set ups. The Roku 3 was so easy to get up and running ... amazing. Streaming programs and movies on the TV is way better than my tablet.
