Better than I expected

I really brought this for the HD and HBO Go. It was better than I thought and I'm glad I took back the Chromecast.

The hard part, you need a router and a subscription to Netflix or other type program. After that it's a breeze, Roku hook-up is a very easy and it does a great job of pulling in the signal. It gives new life to your old TV and you really could cancel your subscription cable and not even miss it. It's well worth the price!!

My I/T friend told me about this and I purchased the latest version RoKu-3 a month ago. I'm very happy I did , as it's soooo easy to use and I love how easy it is to set-up and get to viewing right away. I love technology !

I was so frightened to give up cable but no more! Roku saved the day. Your internet service matters a lot when it comes to the performance capabilities of the device (of course). At top speed, the roku is wonderful.

Easy to setup and use. Clean simple interface. Loads of free content. Syncs with all the major streaming content providers. plus you can play your personal media library from it. Hands down, awesome value. Special note, LOVE the headphone port on the remote, allows me to keep watching TV when my wife wants to sleep!

I bought this about a month and a half ago and it was one of the best decisions I have made. I had satellite TV for about 6 or 7 years and there was never anything on that I cared about watching. With roku I can always find something to watch, I can also pause it for bathroom breaks or pick up where I left off another time. The option to rent High Resolution movies is great as well. Its nice to keep that extra $80 in my pocket each month too!

My honest review

I have had this for about 2 months now. I cut cable am very happy I did. This device has the most channels of streaming devices. I can get everything I used to watch on cable in one form or another and its all free. It has rebooted once or twice I think but it is not an issue. It is fast and I am just very happy with it. I'm going to get a second one but may get the dongle version instead.
