Great gear - tends to lock up

Bought it a month ago and we're very satisfied. Wireless reception is excellent. Main downside is that it can lock up requiring a power cycle at the box. Happens more often than I would have thought.

Love my Roku

I purchased the original Roku a few years back and still have it on the main TV. I wanted to add a Roku3 to the TV in the bedroom and love the feature of the ear buds. My husband can sleep and I do not disturb him.
Also I love the changes in the buttons on the handset.

Netflix and Plex as they should be.

Excellent product. I have used Netflix and Plex through various methods, SmartTV, TIVO and Blue Ray player. The ROKU 3 blows them all away for speed and simplicity. Very quick to install and setup. The only problem was with the HDMI connection. I had to try a different HDMI cable and a different HDMI socket in my receiver before Netflix would work. Headphone socket in remote control is great feature.

We wanted to stop paying so much for satellite and broke free with OTA, a TiVo, and the Roku. Now with the TiVo subscription and HuluPlus through the Roku, we are paying a fraction of what we were paying!

Bought this to replace a new Sony 3D DVD player I had just purchased for streaming vidos and movies. DVD player for some reason did not stream Hulu-Plus very well so we replaced it with the Roku 3 and am so glad I did.

I just wished I had found Roku a few years ago, I love, love, love my Roku 3 and the awesome Remote with the Headphone Jack :) I'll never pay for Cable TV again - ever!
