This is my second Roku. So easy to set up, tech support is great if there's an issue. I bought my first one several years ago and have liked it a lot, but the new one is fantastic with tons of new channels available. These people are definitely doing a great job at increasing the value in their product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No regrets (but Canucks get stiffed!)

There's a lot of hype about channel availability but Canadians only get a fraction of the channels available in the US. We also do not get the search function which is one of the major selling features of the product. Still: It's a worthwhile investment. A number of reviews I read discount Roku's ability to stream our own content. I found that, using the Plex media server, I can stream slide shows, home movies, ripped DVD content etc. with no problems. Since currently I only have one Roku box, I have not been able to test streaming to multiple TVs using multiple Roku boxes but that is next on my agenda.

Just bought it was using NEOTV before because of the ability of DNLA for my network drive /movies at home. Well Roku 2 looked and sounded like it would do DNLA but it doesn't so buyer beware! aside this little fact the product is far easier to use then the neotv product, its much better at networking and streaming then the neotv product, and you can stream all episodes of Dramafever Channel, Enough said ! will exchange Roku2 for roku 3 if it does DNLA ....

Was using a blu-ray player to stream netflix and decided I wanted a better device. Not only does the Roku3 work better but it also allowed me to search and add shows to my list without logging onto the computer 1st.
