I love it, easy to use and I am not that good with electronics. The only thing I wish Roku would do is state up front if the channels are free or have a fee. Other than that I am really happy with it.

All features and functions work great. There is no sleep function and it stays powered on all the time. It cannot support its own power load and must have an extra cord hanging out of the back. It uses batteries like candy... never knew what the packs of 200 batteries were for but now I know. But again. NO CABLE BILL
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought ROKU so that I can add choice to my viewing and not have to get caught up in the multitudes of channels of normal television. It's so easy to navigate and comes through streaming so well, even with a broadband internet connection. We love it!

We are really happy with this gadget. We now pay only $9 for Netflix instead of those ridiculous direct tv bills for a lot of channels we never wanted to look at.

just exactly as advertised plug it in and it works perfectly. Note that you do have to have an HDMI cable which is not part of the setup
