We bought the Roku 3 for a 2nd TV because we didn't have a Blu Ray player hooked up.  After using the Roku for streaming... now we are wondering if it would be a nice addition to add to our main TV over our Blu Ray player for streaming.  The interface is great.  The speed blows away our Blu Ray player.  It was super easy to install.  I would highly recommend the Roku player.

I bought my first one a couple of months ago AFTER not being happy with a competitors device. The set up was SIMPLE and I was streaming NetFlix, Amazon Prime and my own vids within a few minutes. We then bought 2 more for other parts of the house

I like the speed

Because the low speed of my internet service provider I was unable to stream movies with my existing system. Upgrading my router and my streaming device took care of my problem.
I love the functionality and other features but speed was my biggest problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great way to watch all your favorite shows and movies. Only complaint is occasionally the audio will slow down after a while forcing you to unplug the unite to reboot.

I bought this about a month agoand I am very happy with  my Roku 3. I love that I can also interact with the TV and the computer both .

Good product became better w/ addition of youtube

I have an apple TV for one of my TVs. I was waiting to buy a Roku for my second one. I was so glad that Roku decided to add youtube to the line up. That was the tipping point between buying another apple TV and the Roku3. I am happy with the Roku3. I have used it for about a month and a half now. It was easy to set up, easy to add channels from the wide selection.
A few minor issues: The battery died after a month of use. I heard that the hear buds can cause this. I never leave the buds plugged in then I am not using it. Another issue I had was that at times the Roku would not respond to the remote. The Roku logo would be on the TV but nothing happened when buttons on the remote are pushed. I tried unplugging the Roku unit and reconnecting but that did not help. I finally tried to remove the battery from the remote and reinsert the same battery, then it worked again. This was after the first set of batteries died. These were the replacement batteries that were in the remote for only a week. I am still using this set now so it was not bad batteries.
Overall I like the whole set up.
