Had HDCP issues that could not be resolved

Roku3 worked great for 2 weeks, then started to get the HDCP unauthorized error. After doing all remedies suggested, the only fix was a factory default reset, and that fix only lasted 1 day. It seemd strange that all my issues started on March 1st 2014. I have returned it & bought an Apple TV, which works fine. It's too bad because the Roku had some extra features that Apple doesn't have, but at least I can watch content again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Device, still needs refinement

This is a great little device, however with all the great features it failed when it came to the audio. I have a good base receiver (Yamaha RX-V2700) with multiple HDMI inputs, so it is a great fit for the Roku 3. However when I switch over to Digital Dolby Plus the audio starts to click, I have to fall back to just straight stereo. Pros: The Content is great, easy to use interface

No Cable Needed

My Roku 3 made my decision to do away with cable almost unnoticeable! Having a subscription to Netflix and Hulu Plus alongside my Roku 3 has reduced my monthly bills and worked flawlessly! Only thing missing is capability to stream Showtime on Demand.

The only way to use Acorn TV

After some frustrating time with my computer and Apple TV, I bought a Roku and it is working with Acorn TV fine ever since. The only problem I had is with the earplugs; I could not find a way to control Left-Right balance, but it is a shortfall I can live with.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought my Roku 3 after hearing so many of my friends rave about it. I am so bored with Cable TV now. Roku allows me to hook up with Netflix and has enabled me to watch so many British shows (which are great) and movies that I can't get on TV. So I am a huge fan! Definitely worth it. Hooking it up was a challenge for me because I was confused about the "input" button on my TV remote. Be sure to read the directions carefully. The directions could be a bit clearer regarding this absolutely necessary option.
