Good product - easy to use

I ditched my cable tv about a year ago, deciding to use the offerings available on the internet instead (and save about $80 per month). With the addition of the Aereo ($8 month) plug-in for broadcast tv, my Roku has exceeded my expectations. There are many movie and older tv show offerings and the history channel plug-in is a big plus.
The one feature that sold the Roku 3 for me was the USB port. I can view movies and pictures that I've downloaded from my computer for viewing on my tv.
The remote is simple and easy to use with buttons large enough for easy pushing, and the headphone jack on the remote is a nice touch for quiet viewing.
The only negative so far is that the plug-in descriptions don't always provide enough information. I would like to know up front if the specific plug-in requires a log-in from a tv services provider.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We Love Our Roku

We bought our Roku 3 a couple of months ago and we love it. It is perfect for the way we watch television and we are completely happy with making this change in our home.

I bought this so I could stream my netflix and watch youtube. Very impressed... It does freeze up on pandora, but I have to believe its pandora. The ability to sink my smart phone and iPad is a huge plus. Especially when pulling up YouTube videos. Highly recommend this product. You will not be disappointed .

We bought this a month ago and really enjoy it. Our only complaint is the Roku Media Player won't play .mkv files.

Roku 3 works excellent for easy additional programming available with internet at home or even while travelling. I would recommend this to anyone who has current
audio/video equipment. This of course with a good internet connection of 3 mg download speed.

easy to use, great channels

Roku as a lot of great internet channels. I have went to these channels on my computer internet browser and they are not nearly as good as on the Roku. The wireless remote with built in headset is Great! especially while exercising. If you subscribe to Hulu plus and netflix and you get over the air local shows there is no reason to have cable or satelite. PLUS a lot of local stations have their own Roku channel anyway.

I bought my first Roku nearly a month ago for the TV in the living room and it has been working so well for my wife and I that I actually bought a second one for our TV in our bedroom. Great picture quality, sound and functions.
