Great Features & easy to set up

I just got it 3-weeks ago and I like it very much. I just wish it will have live streaming news on some local programing channels.

Pros

Cons
- Remote Unsyncs on occasion, need to reset machine to resync - Head phone jack in remote cuts in and out, still a great feature

I really like my machine, compared to my game system that I would need to turn on and off, wait to boot, the roku is always on with very little energy consumption. Easy to navigate, find new channels and rent movies. The Video quality is great compared to other alternatives
Like I said only downside it is the first generation, so there are bound to be some bugs, the remote will unsync so you need to restart the machine, but it's not that big of a deal and only happens maybe once a week. The headset function is my favorite part, when I cannot sleep at night I like to watch with the headset plugged in because it takes the Audio off the tv and into the headset, only problem is it cuts in and out and the quality of the jack is not the best.
Either way I would say it's a good machine with a few bugs only because it is brand new and I'm sure the next generation will fix most bugs encountered with this version.

I have been wanting a device to play movies and shows with - this was a great choice. I recommend the Roku to everyone. We like Roku so much we are going to buy one for our mother!

Super fast, best online streaming device

I use a PS3, Sony Blu-ray, and a Roku 3 to stream online data to different parts of the house. The Roku is my favorite for online streaming. It has fast load up times, and the navigation is easy to use.

Good Features

I bought this three weeks before and working fine. But sometimes, it says network problem and then go to non HD type. Then I have to unplug the power and restart the same. This network problem is really not there as I have high speed internet and all other apps or equipments working fine. Otherwise this ROKU is really super

Tons of options and HD

Some of us don't have Smart TVs but love our set. This is a perfect addition to put in some paid as well as free services. Add in Angry Birds Space and YouTube and it is a win-win-win-win.
