I bought this 2 weeks ago,. I have amazaon, huluplus and netflix. I just added aereo this week. No more cable and high bills.

I currently own a Vizio smart TV but I wanted a Roku because it offers more content.. I have since stopped using the Vizio smart apps & use the Roku exclusively and it's been awesome
The only thing I wish is the Roku 3 supported DTS internally which is does not and I don't have a Home therOKU REVIEWater setup so the Roku wont do DTS.. but over all its been awesome 10 out of 10

I bought this so I could watch some tv shows not available on demand. At last I can watch Breaking Bad! My only complaint is I can't find some older movies that I would like to see. I like streaming not using dvd's.

I wish it supported DTS !

The Roku interface and speed is very good. However, it does not support DTS audio. If you are looking to use a product like Plex using direct stream, you'll find yourself trans coding video constantly. I understand there are licensing cost to supporting DTS, but with so many Blurays now in DTS it would be great to have a great player like this support it.

I bought Roku 3 out of curiosity with intend to compare it with Apple TV Gen 2. To my surprise, Roku 3 is extremely user friendly and versatile. The only feature missing is wireless video streaming which would out-perform Apple TV if this feature could work with not only iOS & Windows, but also Android.
I would recommend this to a friend!
