I like my Roku 3, just not as much as my Apple TV. The Roku has a interface and remote. Puzzling it the multiple formats of virtual keyboards used to enter login information. It looks like each content provider developed its own keyboard layout. This makes entering information via the remote challenging.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I absolutely love, LOVE my Roku! It is great to see what I want to see, when I want to see it and the best thing is I can go back to what I watched. I found a crochet channel on Fawesome.TV that is so helpful since I am a beginner. I added so many channels including fitness channels and my husband and I are so pleased with the amount of Christian/Faith channels that are available. LifeChurch TV goes right along with our Bible study which tickles me to no end.

Great Performace.... but features could be better

The performance of the Roku 3 is excellent - quick and smooth like such a device should be... The remote works well (for what it does) and the headphone jack is great feature.
On the other hand, the lack of a native YouTube app is a major weakness for which Plex is a poor solution and the inability to use a bluetooth keyboard is inexcusable for a device where searching through masses of content is a 'key' function. (a competeing device offers a keyboard on the remote)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received the Roku thru the mail. I installed it and it worked well from the very start.
However, I encountered some problems ("slow connection" interruptions which were resolved when Roku Customer Service assisted me in adjusting the settings!

Convenient little box.

I got this as a gift from my parents. It's nice that it's always on, so I can stream instantly. Previously, I was using my PS3 to stream Netflix, and this draws much less power.

Loving this device so far. Great directions and on-screen guidance makes it easy to hook up. I downloaded the Plex Server application, so I am able to stream videos from my computer, and loving it!
