Great Bargain

I mainly brought this so I could get the WWE Network. The sound and picture quality is amazing. There are a lot of free channels that you can get some great movies.

I've now got two Roku units and couldn't be happier with them. The simple, convenient interface provides easy, consolidated access to services like Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime and Plex, and searching for content couldn't be easier.

I had an old itx px with Windows XP I used for a set top box and it had got infected yet again so I looked for another solution. I read good reviews on the Roku 3 and the price was right so I tried it out. We love it, we got a huluplus subscription and my wife can catch up on all her favorite shows whenever she wants. I am still exploring free content and I have found a number of shows and movies I like. My only suggestion would be to add the capability of connecting a wireless keyboard, I miss being able to type with a keyboard.

Good, not Flawless

The unit works well, I am happy with it generally. But it broadcasts itself as a connection point for my wireless devices all over the house. This interferes with my existing wireless router, and I can't seem to find a way to turn this off.

Access to Great Programing

I was getting hammered by my satellite provider for a few movie channels. The Roku will pay for itself in 3 months by cancelling my movie channels. Best decision I could have made. I am absolutely pleased with the quality and selection of programming the Roku offers.

The Roku3 works great - fast and very easy to use. Out of the box there are many free channels to install as well as youtube/vimeo etc. Coupled with a Amazon Prime or Netflix subscription you will never have to watch cable again. Would definitely recommend.
