So far so good!

I bought the Roku 3 because I want to watch Netflix on the TV in our master bedroom. It works great for this! I mounted the box on the back of a flat screen TV that is in turn mounted on the wall. I'm getting used to the remote (I'm not a gamer) and haven't even begun to explore the options other than Netflix that available through the Roku!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best purchase I've made recently

We live in an area surrounded by bluffs. Our only choice for TV reception is an aerial antenna or satellite. The antenna reception is hit and miss depending on what the weather is like. Of course satellite is great in our area IF you want to pay an arm and a leg! I decided to try a Roku 3 and am very happy that I did. My family and I are so pleased with it that I don't think we've watched regular TV since we've purchased it. We have the slowest possible DSL, which scared me a bit, but have not had any real issues with streaming. We've really only used it for Netflix so far, but the amount of other channels is astounding! I have told anyone who will listen that if they want to cut the cable/satellite don't hesitate to invest in a Roku! A one time payment of $100 is way better than a monthly payment of $50-$100+

Great device!

Great device overall, the only downside I could find is that its very limited region wise, for example I try to activate it in Mexico and you cant get netflix in there, even when Netflix its available there with any other device, luckily I have an US address and was able to make it work right. 100% Recommended

Super Simple Navigation and Great Content

I cut the cable about 4 weeks ago and first on my purchase list was the Roku. I purchased the Roku 3 and wired it (via HDMI) to my downstairs large-screen television (1999 57" Mitsubishi DLP). It is not a Smart TV and I'm so glad it's not. Compared to my newer LG Smart TV upstairs, the Roku beats it hands-down for navigation and content. The number of channels is incredible and it's been working flawlessly with my D-Link dual band router. I couldn't be more pleased!! I intend on purchasing 2 more for my other television sets, including my Smart TV...

I bought this a month ago cause i'm sick of cable. I love the flexibility of streaming movies and express content when i want and not when the cable companies schedule it. I'm on my schedule and no one elses. But i'm alittle dismayed that ROKU just came out with the new stick for half the price. Should have waited just alittle longer. But i am still very satisfied.

Easy to install, but has no product support

Take it out of the box, plug it in, minimal setup and you think you're good to go. But the Search (searching across Channels) disappeared and there is no help on the product page or from Roku. So you have to scroll through hundreds of movies on each Channel to find something.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the ease of watching my Roku!

Bought the Roku when someone suggested it to watch Netflix, but it has been great for so much more! We love it and use it all the time to watch our favorite show that we missed, listen to music, watch videos and movies! It was well worth the expense!

love roku3. bought roku2 online.not happy with it.when you go to home or go back it has a purple screen for about 2 to 3 minuite befor it shows channels options.like it sleeps.love my roku3,its quick.no long delays.
