Better Than Apple TV!

I am in the tech industry and happen to have all three of the main devices out there right now, Apple TV, Chromecast, and Roku 3. I prefer the Roku 3 out of these three. Here's why: 1) There are more options to customize your experience, you get to pick what channels are the device, with Apple TV, there is no way that i have found to remove unused apps. 2) The Netflix App - The app on this device allows you to watch multiple episodes, where the other devices are once and done. 3) The remote. There is an option to download a remote for your phone, but i haven't even used it yet. The remote works anywhere in the room. the remote for the apple tv must pretty directly pointed at the device, which somehow will still turn things on my wife's macbook, just a little annoying. I have more reasons, but don't want to write a book about how great the Roku 3 is!...maybe if i got some free movies i would... ;)

originally I bought another device to stream movies and it was large, complicated to set up. roku is small and easy. I should have purchased the "1" as I did not need advanced features.

The New way to watch TV

Got rid of satellite and bought 2-Roku 3 players. Got netflix and I love the money I'm saving. The device has a lot of free channels and paid channels. I won't go back to paying cable bill.

Bought the Roku3 instead of renting another cable box from TWC. Not only did I get TWC but
I can move it to any TV in the house and outside on the patio.

The Best Streaming Device I've Seen

Loved my first Roku 3 so much I bought a 2nd one for my other television. It transmits audio to my Yamaha 1020 for a perfect sound. The video it sends to my newer TVs is flawless. The only drawback I've found is that it doesn't support 1080i over VDI, which is all my older Mitsubishi big screen is capable of. The only question now is when I'll get rid of my cable.
