Great Gadget!

Very easy to use and gives me access to an almost unlimited variety of entertainment. Probably could have settled for the Roku 1 as I do not use it for gaming.

Too much junk. Nothing good is free

I am not happy with the free junk. The paid programs are the same every where as long as you have internet on your TV.
Please, can you tell me what would be the advantage of buying ROKU? It doesn't offer me anything different that I don't have to pay for. I am ready to return mine.

Super easy to set up!

Not being a real great teckie, I wasn't sure how much of a hassle it was going to be to set up but it was a piece of cake. The instructions are written with people like me in mind. My latest TV has many apps built in and I have used them and decided to get a Roku for my older plasma and the Roku runs circles around my built in apps, both with speed and content.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Absolutely seamless!

We had been streaming Netflix through our Wii, but had to bypass our surround sound system to do it. The Roku 3, with its HDMI jack, allows us to hear our movies in full surround sound with rich bass. As I said in the title, it worked seamlessly right out of the box. I just plugged it in and it found our wireless network immediately. Our son loves the programs on the PBS channel. My wife and I have listened to many Ted Talks, and we listen to Pandora radio often. The future of television and a great investment!

This unit has tons of content and everything works flawlessly. My wife and I love the headphone jack on the side of the remote so we don't bother each other if one of us is reading in bed or asleep. We would recommend this highly to anyone.

I bought this last month and I am so glad I did. It's very easy to set up and the streaming in amazing. There are so many channels available, I haven't even scratched the service. Love it, Love it, Love it.

Straightforward and easy to use

I've had the Roku 3 for about 6 weeks. With Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu Plus I can get all the TV (except live sports) and movies I want. There are so many other interesting channels you could spend a day just browsing.
Using my phone with the Roku app is great, YouTube pairing with the laptop is great, playing slide shows and videos from my phone is great.
Setup was simple and took about 5 minutes.
Best of all - no cable, just my existing internet connection.
