love now little room my Roku takes up, no one even see it until I point it out. Very easy to set up, took more time navigating the web site. Works very well with Linux for my in house media center.

It's not a bad product, but I resold mine and bought a Chromecast instead, does more and costs less, and one less remote to worry about.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have been extremely pleased with the Roku 3. It works great with WIFI, navigates easily, and the remote is easy and responds great.

Low power footprint, High quality results!

The main functions I use the Roku for are connecting to Disney Junior Channel (requires cable subscription) and for Plex Media channel. Any media I want to be available through Plex I just put in the appropriate directory and i can access it from Roku in as high quality as the source file. I love it! Ethernet connection makes sure that any Wifi issues does not impact me, and the HDMI connector makes interfacing with modern TVs simply and easy. Since the remote uses network protocols, it was easy to add a Roku Remote app to my android phone and control it that way if I don't want to get up off the couch and find the roku remote.
I would recommend this to a friend!

World of Entertainment Options at Your Fingertips

I requested the Roku3 as a Christmas gift and, since I installed it, have been nothing but pleased with its performance. There are a world of entertainment options at your fingertips - from music to movies to other informative options (such as NASA TV) - and most of them are free to install on your Roku3. Picture quality is outstanding, the audio is quite good (can't get it to work with my SurroundSound, but that is a minor inconvenience) and loading times for choices are quick. The Roku3 has made me think a bit about giving up full cable service (not something I'm ready to do quite yet) but, for those on a budget, the Roku3 would allow you to do something like that. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the Roku3!

I have finally found a solution that can consistently deliver high quality streaming content. From Netflix to my own NAS its make life so much more simple. Thanks Roku!
