I originally bought the 2 and it was being used so much I bought the 3 and love it only problem is having to wait a year after the US adds content to be able to see it, used tech support and was very happy

Great alternative to cable!

We bought the Roku3 to replace our extremely high cable bill, mainly to get PBS Kids as we were starting to use a digital antenna. The choice of channels is great. There are movies and other programs that I never knew existed. The only drawback is the commercials on some of the channels. Unfortunately, we had to go back to cable to get local channels our antenna didn't receive properly, but we kept the Roku3 as I like the variety of movies, music, and games. I look forward to more channels as they pop up!

Helped save over $100 per month

Roku and Hulu Plus allowed me to cancel the TV portion of my "triple play" saving me over $100 per month. Lots of great stuff on Roku for free also, but you will need something like Hulu Plus if you are thinking about cutting lose from Cable TV.

I bought my Roku 3 about 2 months ago. Between the Roku 3 and my digital antenna, I will be able to drop Time Warner cable.

Fantastic product

I have owned a Google TV for a few years and thought why do I need a Roku player also? Well what a surprise! The Roku player is a great product, with thousands of channels, where the GTV only offers about a dozen or so apps and also blocks the use of many Websites. I like my Roku player so much that I now own a second one.

We bought this and have been using it to especially watch netflix, amazon prime and espn. It has been running well without problems and has provided entertainment. It's pretty easy to use. Of course our 6 year old seems to be able to use it better than we can. We have been trying to get use to the new netflix setup which I do not think is just limited to the Roku but to all netflix devices.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have a standard LED 50" TV with no internet capabilities. This device gives me all that I could want so I can binge watch on my big screen instead of on a smaller computer monitor. So many choices and so easy to use! I am 67 yrs old and do not want to get tooooo involved in setting up any device. Love it!!
