No Brainer

Have had installed for over a month now and it works perfectly. Very easy set up. I have downloaded the Roku app to 2 Ipads and 2 smart phones; coupled with the included remote I am able to control from anywhere in the house as it works through my wireless network rather than line of sight. If you have older TVs without HDMI input check out HD Fury converter. That's what I did and it works perfectly. Makes my older TVs look like HD.

I purchased Roku 3 to help me cut my cable cord, I very happy with the huge options of channels, TV shows and movies. I have not had any issues with steaming, so far everything has loaded perfectly and the picture quality is great. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

We needed a better way of streaming video programming, after experiencing some issues with my Sony Blu-Ray player. Much easier to use, and the head phone jack in the remote control is brilliant.

Faster than expected!

Cut the cord on cable, and got a Roku expecting it to be user friendly and hopefully expanding month after month.
Having used it for a month, the only surprise was how fast it is! From turning on my TV to watching a program from Amazon Prime, its incredibly fast. I would have thought it would take much longer than it does. Thanks Roku!

I bought the Roku 3 to complement my viewing experience. I now use this method primarily. Very user friendly. Best way to use Amazon Prime.

What a nifty gadget!

I have been a DirecTV customer for over 10 years and my monthly bill had just gotten too high. Plus there were really very few channels I actually watched. Since I was completely clueless to the streaming game, I did a lot of research before deciding on the Roku. It seemed to have the best reviews. They were absolutely right! The Roku 3 is so much fun to use. The setup was super easy and it amazes me how such a little gadget can do so much. I had spent a lot of time on the Roku website before I ordered it to determine which channels I was interested in watching. Then I followed the suggestion from another reviewer and did all the preliminary work (account setup, etc.) directly on each website of the channels I wanted to add to "My Channels" list before booting up the Roku. This made registering the Roku code on each website move along faster. The remote is very user friendly. I changed my DirecTV account to the least expensive package and the watch ratio is Roku 75% and DirecTV 25%. My WiFi speed was 3 mbps and it was sufficient; however I upgraded it to 10 mbps and it made a big difference. I love my Roku!
