Responsiveness Rocks

I wanted something that was standalone and could play Amazon Prime. I have an apple tv and a Roku 3. Love my Roku 3 for the following reasons:
1. Responsiveness Rocks
2. Don't need line of site to use. I have to mounted on the back on my TV.
3. Did I mention responsiveness

Everything I wanted and expected

Bought this a month or so ago, and I have no complaints so far. It does everything it promises. The only thing I would change are the games. Stick to Angry Birds. I can't stand seeing all these games I wouldn't play for free on my phone, let alone pay for them on my Roku.

Best way to watch TV

We own 3 Roku 3s - one for each TV. Between Netflix and Plex, we aren't missing out on anything since dropping Directv. I would buy more if I had more TVs :)

Great home media player!

I have had an AppleTV 2 since it's release. It is a decent media player but really doesn't come into it's own unless it is jailbroken and keeping that up to date or waiting for a new iOS to be jailbreakable is a pain. The Roku 3 has been terrific right out of the box. Setup was easy, interface is well laid out and the Roku 3 is much more responsive than the ATV2. I will probably end up getting another Roku for other rooms in the house.

Great gadget!

Purchased this a few weeks ago, and love it mostly. Just one little glitch. Every once in a while it requires me to sign in again, and as my email address is a little long, it takes a few minutes to retype it all in again. Other than this, we are quite happy with it!

Good channel selection

Roku has a good channel selection.
Though in many cases, Channels make it hard to be of any value whatsoever unless you dive in monthly fee this, monthly fee that, and monthly this and that which in the end makes you somewhat wonder.... how much was my Roku ?
Not Roku's fault but I am seriously getting tired getting milked on monthly basis.
So Roku definitely gets a 4 stars for the load of channels they offer but it could be a 5
