Remote needs help

The Roku works like a charm, I was using a DVD that streamed the video, but it would halt in mid stream so I bought a Roku on advice from my daughter.Very happy with the results. But the remote control is a disaster, the design needs reworked its rounded and when you set it on any surface its unstable is easily knocked on the floor. Also
the batteries are used up at an alarming rate when you use the ear phones, and a volume control for the TV would be nice.

This is my 2nd Roku - I gave my first one to my daughter. I like the new addition of the headphone jack in the rermote.

I bought this a month ago and was not sure I would really like it, but it has been so easy to use that I enjoy watching T.V. more now then I did before. I love playing the games with my Grandchildren

I switched to a Roku 3 from an Apple TV about a month ago. Gone are my pixelated Netflix feeds! The Roku 3 just seems to stream HD much more consistently. I varied my bandwidth, tried many different things, but in the end the Roku seems more reliable. Now if only Roku can streamline their interface a bit. For instance, I miss the top-level Netflix view (page level, many movies block titles) of the ATV, my watchlist is hard to track down, etc. So if Roku can update their interface, this would hands-down be the best streamer out there.

Lots of great channels

Roku works great for most channels, just don't expect an HD PICTURE from Netflix if you are on Verizon Fios. Hopefully Verizon will reach an agreement with Netflix soon. If you are on fios Apple TV still works greAT . I guess apple must have an agreement with fios to not throttle their channels

I was debating about getting a Roku in order to get rid of my $80 a month cable bill. I have no regrets whatsoever of getting a Roku 3. We put up an antenna and to my surprise, we got NBC, CBS, ABC, CW and PBS as we live out in the country and not close to any. We watch anything we want, when we want. We don't have to stay up late to watch the late night talk shows as we can watch them on our schedules, not theirs. Would I recommend a Roku 3? The answer is YES!!! Get rid of cable and put money in your pocket!
