Has challanges

Is not simple to use. Had technical problems, some were wifi connection related. Replaced roku with a wifi enabled dvd player. Much better now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have watched the advertising, looked at the reviews and looked at the comparison tables for all these items. Roku was always on top.
Now I can see why.
This is a great product. It does everything they claimed and does it well. I have logged into several channels and continue to be surprised in the right way.
Now I'm killing Cable.

I bought my Roku 3 to be able to watch my movies and my YouTube subscriptions. I found a lot more than that. I'm using it almost every day !

I purchased the Roku 3 over the holidays and have been enjoying it ever since. My wife and my daughter just cant leave it alone. I'm going to purchase one for my daughter real soon. Thanks for a great product.

My New Roku

First, went with a C.cast when first got my new TV in November. But it made too many compromises (i.e., wireless only, very limited content, and the need of a smartphone, etc. to use it). I upgraded to a Roku 3 and am ecstatic that I did. Tons of channels to choose from, wired Ethernet (which, IMHO, is the only way to stream content effectively), and seamless integration with my all-in-one Logitech One remote. Possibly the only complaint I have is that the picture on-screen occasionally is a bit too dark, causing me to have to change the TV settings. However, I feel this is a very small price to pay for such a great product. I recommend the Roku 3 highly to anyone looking to stream content (and possibly, to cut their ties to the cable companies altogether).

If you want streaming, Roku is tops. First of all, it works. Second, the ability to use headset to view movies and silence the speaker is a fantastic feature. I use it all the time.
