WORKS as advertised

This works as advertised.
One small problem, I left it on and the next morning it was completely frozen,
Wouldn't do anything, but just unplugged it all for awhile, and it fired up again with

Awesome little device with great interface

I got my Roku 2 about a month ago and boy am I glad I did. :)
That was the prompt on what to write in this review box minus the smiley face. I love my Roku though. I've used other streaming devices for a several years now but none beat the Roku. I love most of the interfaces so much. Easy to navigate and the Netflix interface is better than any other even the Netflix website itself.
I do not like the interface for NHL GameCenter Live nearly as well as I do the Sony devices as it's not so easy to find the games you are looking for. It needs a way to search by team as well as by games played on an individual day.
Roku also does not decode dolby sound embedded in mp4 videos. I tend to watch a good bit of digital files and I suppose the Roku team felt that I should have a surround sound system to do the decoding for me but I don't. So when I want to watch digital files off a thumb drive I have to go back to my Sony BluRay player which does in fact decode dolby for me.
Still I love my Roku and have both it and my Sony BluRay player both plugged in to the TV and have to switch back and forth. I was half hoping the Roku would replace my Sony device but alas it does not.

Been using it for about a month and it works great using a Clear Wireless Hub. Forget Cable. Get this.

I have two of these Roku 3 boxes. They are wonderful, I only need to change input to TV and I am ready to watch Hulu Plus, Netflix and a whole bunch more stations without paying a cable company. Remote has a plug for headphones so I don't disturb my husband while I watch in comfort. Very easy to install. Very easy to use. Just add power plug and an HDMI cable and you are set to go. Tech Support is wonderful for any questions you might have, talk to a live person.

Better streaming than the computer

I was streaming shows thru my computer and was really tired of delays for buffering, and waiting. This little unit does none of that. Great picture and a great variety of choices to view.

Researched the competing devices and concluded Roku3 was the best for my family. Easy setup, excellent quality video.and it's fool-proof to use.. I recommend it to everyone.

Best TV experience ever!

Love, love this! Very easy to set up and use and so many possibilities! Freedom to watch what you want when you want and we can watch shows for $8 a month we'd have to watch at a certain time or buy a dvr and program to record. Totally worth the money. My one problem is I get busy watching shows, I don't explore more. The first one we bought was defective, but a quick online chat led to that conclusion and we exchanged and install was simple and fast.
