Large selection of channels/programming

Bought one and like it so much bought a second for another room. I have an Apple-TV and found it didn't have all of the channels I subscribe to, but Roku does. Even found new channels to get current seasons of loved BBC shows like Doc Martin and Miss Fishers's Murder Mysteries -- a nice surprise. Video quality has been excellent using the Wi-Fi option. Only down side was to get the 5.1 audio many shows on Netflix, Amazon, Vudu, etc. have available, you must have an a/v receiver to the TV via HDMI with this player.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I actually added this to my "Smart TV", and now it's even smarter! The set-up was easy and flawless on my home wireless wifi.

This was a great replacement for my satellite. I was already an Amazon Prime member, so this allowed my to access many of the shows that I watch. For an additional $16 a month for Netflix and Hulu, I can watch almost any show or movie that I want. Plus, Roku has many additional channels with free shows and movies, and YouTube, Pandora, and Vevo. I wish I would've switched a long time ago.

I have had the product for little over a month and have enjoyed it since purchase...no complications in simple setup and channel choices...I added Aereo to channel lineup in order to "cut the cord" with cable provider and it performed well. Easily switch between channels...great product!!

I love my Roku 3. I've tried Chromecast, Apple TV and a Raspberry Pi. I got this specifically to work with my Plex Media Server, which it does fantastically.
Kids love the games on it. The controller is perfect.

I just wish it had a web browser that could play Flash media natively.

I couldn't be happier with the Roku 3. At first I had my doubts on if I even needed such a device, but after having it for a few months I can say I don't know how I lived without it before this. My tv downstairs is a "dumb" tv so this is just what it needed. A little Netflix, some light gaming and tons of channels to choose from.
It would be nice if the Roku 3 could stream more types of files from it's USB port but I have been pretty satisfied so far.
I would absolutely buy this again, in a second. Go get one, you need one NOW

I bought an Apple TV and returned it 3 days later for a Roku. So many more channels and features, easier to use, and it streams much faster!
