Lots of options.

We're really enjoying this. My husband bought it for me but now I have a hard time getting my turn on the Roku.
The adds say 1000 stations but I haven't found that many but I have found a lot of choices. Love the search where you can type in a movie or tv show and the Roku tells you which places you can find what you want.
Already a friend of mine has decided to buy one after hearing from me.

It has some good stuff...

So far I have found some good things on Roku. There are a few tweaks that that I think need to be made but I am sure they will get there. One example. Lets say I do a search for a movie. Lets pick Avengers for this example. I see that Avengers in available on Netflix, so I press play. Cool it starts playing. But I have 4 users on Netflix and I would like to make sure it is playing on the right user. Seeing that the multiple users on Netflix is fairly new, I give Roku a pass. However, I would expect them to have this fully functional within 12 months.

The Roku menus and the amount of streaming channels and options is far better than what is built into any smart TV I've seen. That being said, if you own a TV that can stream online media and only use Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and YouTube, like most people, then you probably don't need this. However if you use PlayOn or stream media from a PC there are Roku Channels that make that a much better experience. My only significant gripe is that I wish I didn't have to use an extra remote to operate it. Ideally I'd like the Roku remote to have the ability to power on a TV and Audio Receiver and be able to change the volume and TV inputs. Also, Roku needs to make a Windows Phone app.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY BEDROOM TV SO IT WOULD HAVE THE SAME CONTENT AS MY L.R. SAMSUNG SMART TV. I AM IN HEAVEN BEING ABLE TO WATCH CONTENT THAT IS MUCH MORE INTERESTING AND AVAILABLE THROUGH NETFLIX AND AMAZON, ETC. I AM SPENDING THIS HARSH WINTER CATCHING UP ON SERIES THAT ARE ACCLAIMED AND I'D BEEN MISSING FOR YEARS! FOR AN OLD BROAD, I'M FEELING HIP! I RECOMMEND YOU GET THE ROKU 3 TO BRING YOUR CONTENT INTO THE 21ST CENTURY!

I've been using my Roku 3 for about 2 months, and so far I'm loving it. Navigation to the various content offerings is easy, smooth and quick. I subscribed to Amazon Prime and I'm really enjoying the movie selections available.
