Excellent alternative to cable or dish

The only reason I can't give the Roku 5 stars is lack of live sports content, otherwise this product is fabulous!

I don't understand people who give Roku a bad rating. It does what it advertises and even better. The more homework you do on this product the more you'll realize how much it can do. I had my doubts at first, but now I'm planning on getting a 2nd unit.

We bought this streaming device recently and not sure why we waited so long! It works well, is simple to use the remote, the best one on the market! ROKU ROCKS!

This is the perfect alternative to television. Even with cable sometimes it seems like there is nothing I want to see. I go to the Roku and see shows I missed or movies.

I was paying $130 for cable and internet and just watching shows on TV with a few sports here and there. Decided to get Roku because I would be able to cut out cable and watch what ever show I wanted by a simple subscription to HULU plus and the numerous other channels that Roku offers. I am basically viewing the same things I was but at a much lower rate of 40$ just for internet. This is probably the best item to buy at the moment.

I have a Roku in the living room. I brought this Roko 3 for the bedroom it is fantastic the head phone plug so I or my wife do not disturb the other while they are sleeping. A GREAT MODEL.

I got Roku as a Christmas gift. From the moment we installed and discovered how many channels and how many movies and documentaries we could watch we fell in love with it. I would recommend Roku to everyone that wishes to expand their TV watching and if you particularly like old movies, this is it.. There are some subscriptions channels but all of the content we got so far is FREE!!.. This is great. We love Roku!!

I am enjoying the Roku player! I use mostly Hulu Plus and Netflix so far. I did have a software problem where I got a purple screen and couldn't see any picture but did have sound. I looked up the issue online and it seems there have been others have the same issue. I called tech support and they were able to walk me through and resolve the issue. Other than that is been working great.
