good but not great

The roku does what it does very well, but there are too many things that it doesn't do at all. The roku does not have a port for a mouse or a key board...it does not have regular web features. You can not go to the regulare web sites for nbs,cbs, pbs or the like. you can not surf the web. No one has built the ultamate internet TV machine...until they do the Roku is better than most. Great little unit that only takes a little room. Easy set up and limited buffering. I would like a web browser for future consideration. I'll be getting a few more of these and kicking cable TV to the curb.

The Roku 3 was easy to install and simple to use . All wires and the device are hidden behind TV ,that's a plus .

Simple and Fast

Amazingly easy to set up. You basically plug it in, give it your wi-fi password, enter a code you get from the Roku website and you're good to go. It is incredibly fast. This is one of the few "Star Trek" products out there. I mean to say that it works intuitively and well.

This product is nice, but watching TV shows at $1.99 each could easily justify purchasing cable. There are some cool channels to see shows from other countries. The only thing would make it better is to be able to watch free full episodes of past TV shows.

After I bought the Roku 3 we started looking at a smart TV, and then had a discussion about keeping the Roku also. The answer was yes because it does so much more.
