Downloads movies much faster than other devices. Doesn't have to load in the middle of a show like other devices I've tried.

Almost limitless options

I'm not much of broadcast TV fan and my Roku 3 has given me access to an amazing library of viewing choices I had no idea existed. Now I bypass the cable and go straight to my Roku and explore.

For the first two years that I had my otherwise very nice Panasonic flat-screen, I just assumed that my Netflix quality problems were due to either my internet speed or maybe even Netflix itself. Then, when trouble-shooting some other internet issues with a new provider, it started to look a lot more like it might be either the application platform on the Panasonic or the Netflix app that it came with. On a hunch, I purchased the Roku 3 and I was just BLOWN AWAY! For two years I had been watching movies in lousy, blocky quality on my beautiful television because the Netflix app simply wasn't capable of running fast enough on the Panasonic. (Who knows whose fault that was.) Whatever the case, the Roku solves everything, and for just $90. What a fantastic deal!

Bought it for Slingmedia support for access to Slingbox but found support horrible so returned the unit

this little guy helps me enjoy the TV more and with it I finally cut the last cord with cable TV. To deliver the last star I would need it to be more customizable or programmable, in order to make it interoperable and automated.

All the streaming and then some

I have a Roku-3 and it works just as promised. Without very much effort I have been able to stream movies, TV, Facebook, and other stuff. Hookup was a breeze, and set up was very easy. I use Hulu+ as my media vendor, and it is good too.
I would recommend this to a friend!
