Beat the Cable TV

I found the Roku a great alternative to Cable TV because it offers a variety of choices in movies and TV shows. In addition, it also offers independent channels that have interesting shows not available on Cable. In order to get most of it, one will need to subscribe and pay for some channels, but at a cheaper cost per month than cable. However, you may not get all the news and the network channels in full. It works for me because I'm selective and I prefer to watch movies and some shows, so I'm really happy with my purchase.

I bought this as a Christmas gift in hopes that it would take our TV streaming experience to the next level and it did. We're talking about buying another one for our downstairs TV just because it's so easy to use.

I bought a Chromecast and was not satisfied. I returned it and bought the Roku 3 and I am so glad that I did. Great choice.

This is a great device. Had it about a month and there is more content than I can find time to watch unless I wanted to become a total couch potato. Love it.

Best Entertainment Investment

Its cheap and super convenient... what more can I say. Oh yes its also loaded with entertainment options and its all in the process of development so the road ahead for the Roku is all roses! But be warned this is a device more suited to viewers who want what they want when they want it. So if your unhappy with choice and prefer being force fed garbage from the cable providers then avoid the Roku.

Roku 3, Easy to Use

It was easy to set up, just follow the directions in the pamphlet. Be sure to download the Roku app to your smartphone. Then you can use your phone as the remote. Comes in handy when the Roku remote freezes up.

I debated for a while on this puchase. I am absolutely impressed. I will never go back to cable access. This streaming device has made me actually want to use my television for more than just dvds. I highly recommend.
