outstanding performance

Been using this for about a month now and all l can say is WOW, why didn't I get one sooner! Extremely quick buffering, excellent video and audio quality, more channels than you can shake the perverbial stick at in a small unobtrusive package. The fact that it comes with a great remote is icing on the cake. Love it!

We can't believe the difference between this and our blue ray. This is so much better. It streams better with no break downs and it gets amazon prime which my blue ray did not. But the best part is at night I can use the head phones and no ones hears the tv but me and that's nice.

Great product

We cut the cord to Cable and satellite over a year ago, we got the Roku to add some extra options for viewing. It is great for the kids, plenty for them to watch. The picture quality is great, and lots of choices. Only one negative, and I don't think Roku has anything to do with it, but several networks are in bed with the Cable and Satellite companies, so you can't get full shows for everything.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Goodbye Cable... Hello Freedom!

I bought the ROKU HD with great expectations and it has delivered. Having the ability to watch movies & shows anytime you want is very desirable in this hectic and busy world we live in. One thing I did notice was a quirk in the audio set-up. I have a high end A/V system and I would like to take advantage of the 5.1 surround sound capability of the majority of programming. When I start a program that has the surround audio option, when it is downloading the show, I hear an audible pop and the then there is no audio output. I have to open the audio window and select the stereo option to get audio back. If you could look into this, it would be much appreciated. Thanks for a great product!

Great little device!

We have the Roku 3 hooked up to a 15" TV on our NordicTrac treadmill. It is located in our master bedroom which is the farthest distance from our wireless router that you can get in our house. The Roku has no trouble streaming Netflix in HD - no buffering at all. We use the Roku mainly for Netflix streaming but have tried several other channels and they all work great. This is a fantastic little player. I have a hearing disability so the closed captions are wonderful. Am thinking of getting another one for our 2009 Samsung flat screen TV so it will display closed captions too.
