Great Features, Great Price

We have been using Roku for years but we recently upgraded to the Roku 3. The new model does so much more than our old model -- for example you can play all of your digitally saved video material in 1080p. I have not gotten used to the new format but I am sure that is just my problem. I have tried Chromecast and other streaming devices but nothing compares to my Roku. It is a keeper.

Fast and easy to install - great value

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this was to set up. The streaming content was superfast. I don't have cable tv, so all the free channels are great to watch stuff on. The fact that it's on-demand is even better! There are a few channels that have short commercial ads, but really, even free public tv has that and it's not an issue. I highly recommend this product!

After reviewing the Consumer Reports ratings, I made the purchase. A very impressive addition to my home at a fair price. I am especially pleased that it receives Amazon Prime selections.

Fast Streaming!

LOVE the streaming speed with the Roku 3! You can't even compare to trying to stream via DVD player, it is great. Lots of Channels, including Pandora, so it's nice to have a music player in my living room now. Only reason why I can't give it 5 stars: The HBOGo App is not supported by Comcast. Appartenly Comcast and Roku are in a tiff. If you want to stream HBO Go, make sure your cable provider supports Roku before you buy, otherwise, Apple TV might be the better choice.

Excellent Video Quality

I don't have a digital recorder or fancy frills cable tv. Having only a 2mb download on my internet I am very astonished at the quality of video stream as I am even able to view hd content without an increase in speed. A much better signal than my cable provider. I don't think I have watched a cable station since it's install, which was very easy and simple.
