Easy to use

We bought about a month ago because we were having trouble with the streaming thru our DVD. We have been very happy with the Roku. It is so easy to use and it solved our issues with streaming content

So much more for the money

We bought this to "cut the cable." We bought Roku3, and an inside antenna to catch local stations. So far, we have enjoyed watching programs we have not watched in a long time rather than anything else but there is so much more on this device. You can add and subtract stations and many of them are FREE. We love it.

Great Device for replacing an apple TV v1.

I bought this to replace an aging appletv device. The interface and remote alone are reasons enough to use the Roku. I've tried the cabletv, smart TV's, ps3 and Xbox for content and the roku is light years ahead of them all.

YouTube App does not work well

YouTube application does not work well, slow and difficult to rewind, fast forward, et cetera. Remote somewhat confusing because of poor consistency of operation between applications. Video delivers decent HD, will see about build quality, sometimes remote is sluggish. Delivers better speed and wireless video quality than most computers with much less effort to actually view content.
Overall good value for $99 if build quality is there.

Very small, light, and highly beneficial!
I am a recent cable cutter and after some evaluation, I decided to purchase the Roku 3, and it does not disappoint. So easy to use, it's not threatening to my wife. So small and compact, you can put it anywhere. And it has most of the media partners for the programming I want.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The interface is neat, smooth, agile, and user friendly, with the ability to add or remove services as you prefer them. It also has Amazon Prime, in addition to the standard Hulu and Netflix. For these reasons, it edges out Apple TV, which I also own. I have mine hardwired (simply because I already had the LAN cable run to the Blu-Ray player that I replaced), but given the quality of everything else with the Roku 3, I bet the wifi works great too. The only thing I didn't like was that I had to supply a credit card up front in case I wanted to rent a movie or buy a TV show (not something I usually do). Minor issue.
